Disappointing Kozui

Early this month, Lex, Louisa and I went to Kozui. Even days before we were so excited and had been anticipating going there.

Lex and I got there first and after some time sitting there on the 2nd floor and still no one around to hand us menu cards, I asked Lex to see if its a self-serve kinda place. It was. (toink)

After seeing their menu, I texted Lois, you'd be in for a surprise. hehehehe.

If you have a tiny (And I mean tiny) appetite and takoyaki and some weird tea with bigas or palay can do it for you, then go ahead visit kozui.

We ended up having a great dinner at Omakaze and having coffee at Baangs' (where Louisa went green seeing three geeks with Macbooks hehehehe)

Okay sooooo I cheated, prior to meeting Lex and Louisa, I went to Mc Cafe at Quezon Ave, where I used to have breakfast while waiting for the malls to open after my 7-8:30am class in UP. hehehehe Peach Tart and Chocolate Frappuccino.

Cafe O

After weeks of waiting, we finally got to try Cafe O at Silver City Motors (Near Tiendesitas and SM Hypermart Libis).

The first floor serves as restaurant that offers (mostly) English food, prepared by Chef Oliver Isidro (Interestingly, he worked with Chef Gordon Ramsey and Jamie Oliver; maybe that explains the very English food) and Pastry Chef Paeng (I love his toffee caramel pudding and there are very interesting desserts, too bad I didn't get to take a picture of the dessert stand/ref; see our pics with them).

Second floor is The Alchemy Bar. It's spacious and not too crowded like the ones in Greenbelt. (maybe because its barely 10pm hehe ;P) But be careful when you get drunk (mataas ang huhulugan mo ;P )

The place is nice, clean (they have their own clean bathroom) and the food was great. I don't really know of other restos that serve English food (baked beans, can there be more English than that?!).

Here's some of the pictures I took when we went there =D

Mushroom Soup (Yum ;P) I love the bread, soft and tasty.

Carrot Honey Soup
Honey Chicken w/ Guacamole Panini w/ Salad
(Lex loved the Strawberry Vinaigrette dressing) and Chips Eggs Benedicts w/ Hash brown
Big English Breakfast

(Eggs, Bacon, Chipotle, Tomatoes, Mushrooms,

Hash Browns and Baked Beans)

Banoffee Pie -- Not too sweet just right =P Toffee Caramel Pudding -- I LOVE this! I can have 5 of this (hehe)

With the cool chefs, Chef Paeng and Chef Oliver
